What Is Best Salmon To Grill

I tend to reach for salmon that still has the skin on the salmon. I find that it will cook up really nicely and helps to hold the salmon together and keep it from drying out.

Some people swear by cooking their seafood on wood planks. Feel free to do that if that is how you prefer to cook fish on the grill.

You will soak your salmon in the honey and teriyaki sauce. I soaked it for 15 minutes, this is going to help add flavor to the fish but also help protect it from drying out.

Salmon cooks up really fast so having the honey to coat the outside will help to create a small barrier to prevent drying out as it grills up.

To know when your salmon is done you will just have to use a fork or even your finger and press down on the fillet. If it flakes it means it is cooked. Salmon needs to flake as you pull it off. You will also see the fat lines of the fish turn white once cooked.

You can store your leftover fish in the fridge in an airtight container. Fish is best when served fresh in my opinion. But you can keep fish for 2-3 days if stored properly.

Always use your best judgment on seafood as you don’t want to eat spoiled meat. That can make you very sick if you do so.
